Every year a group of volunteers decorates Azalea Park with lights and lighted displays (some day my goal is to be a volunteer...). The Light Show is open from the first part of December through Christmas Eve and costs $1 per person, and young children are free. The money collected is then used the next year to add more lights and/or displays, so it grows from year to year. Every year that we are in town for Christmas, we (meaning anyone in the family who wants to go) go to the Light Show at the park before going back to the house to open gifts (we are a part of those "open everything Christmas Eve" people). Since we will be going to Tawni's in Alaska for Christmas, we had 'Christmas Eve' with Tami's family last night. It was a bit rainy - more drizzly than anything, but a bit wet none-the-less, so some of my pictures had raindrops on the camera lens, which blurred things out a bit.
