We arrived home from Alaska yesterday (Jan. 7) afternoon, just in time to change a flat tire on the car! We had to make a couple of stops in town before coming home, so somewhere we picked up a nail with a very large head :(
The trip up to see Kent, Tawni and the kids was great fun, even if the temps stayed down in the double digit negatives most of the time we were there! I've got pictures, but haven't downloaded them from my camera yet, so hopefully that will get done sometime within the next few days.
We plowed through knee-deep snow looking at property (Roger just may finally realize his decades long dream of owning a place in Alaska!), went sledding with the kids one evening, took a drive up high where we could get pictures of Anchorage at sunset, played games and just had a good time in general.
It's always hard to leave there, but this time it was nice to come home so we could thaw out a bit...! :o)
