Little People

Roger had a conference in Corvallis last Friday and Saturday, so I went with him and hung out at my mom's and spent time with my siblings and extended family. We always enjoy the "little people" when we get together.... These two little guys are my great-nephews. The older one, Jason, belongs to my nephew and the younger one, Van, is my niece's. Jason has a new little brother coming along in 2 more months - due on my mother's birthday.

These next "little people" aren't really related in any legal way, but their daddy's were our "sons" when they were growing up (their father and Roger have been best friends since grade school). There were 4 boys in their family, and 2 girls in ours, so we shared :) The kids were more like brothers and sisters than cousins or friends, but us adults were called Aunty and Uncle, so that's what the little ones will call us, too. I guess we can claim them as great nieces and nephews as they come along :)

We stopped to see Jeremy and Katey on the way home this last weekend. At first little Michael was a bit shy...

...but it wasn't long before he warmed up and was showing off his acrobatic skills...

Michael will have a new baby sister come mid-May.

When we flew in to Portland on our way home from Alaska after New Year's, we took a little time to stop by to see Josh & Christmiaty and their little family. Cecilia is 2 and baby Aaron is a month old in these pictures.

I know this one isn't real clear, but I love it! Cecilia wasn't too sure about us at first, but when she decided we were OK she just snuggled right up.
