Summertime 2011

I have really neglected my blog this spring/summer. I think it's past time - way past time - to get some new 'stuff' on here! I've been trying all morning to upload pictures, but nothing's happening so will wait until later and try again.

We had Tawni's kids here from the end of June through most of July. We had a blast, and I think we spent more days at the beach in that one month than in several years :) Thankfully, except for a few days of overcast skies, the weather was gorgeous for their whole time here. The beach time had to be worked in and around Roger's and my work schedules, but we managed to get in a lot of it.

Tori went to work with me at the church (she's a very good bulletin folder), and loved Fridays when I'm at the stamp store, where she could 'create' to her heart's content. Most days, Kyler went with Roger. I overheard him (Kyler) one day telling Tori that "While you were at the beach yesterday, I was sweating in the hot sun digging a ditch with Grampy!" I got a little chuckle out of that, since I knew he'd had a friend there with him, and they didn't spend the WHOLE time 'sweating...' :)
