Memorial Day Weekend 2009 - Monday at the Beach

On Monday, we went to the beach in Crescent City with Tami's family and Bill's parents and sister & brother-in-law. The purpose was to go surf perch fishing, but those of us who are not "fisher persons" explored the beach. It was a fun afternoon, even though it was a bit windy and cool.

Sandy rock and driftwood shots

Shells - didn't find too many whole ones

Patterns in the sand

Flowers growing on the beach

Tami, Britt and I were walking down the beach and saw a creek coming out from behind a large rock. We went behind it and found a nice little secluded spot - very pretty

Reese really wanted Roger to put down his pole and throw that stick!

Reese, the girls' dog, was having a ball playing in the waves!
