We went to my mom's over the weekend. We have a new great nephew born the end of March that we had never seen, and his British grandparents were also here. We didn't get to see them last year, so didn't want to miss them this time - they are wonderful, fun people who just fit into the family like they were born to it. My sister-in-law had also planned a Baby Shower Tea for Sunday afternoon. There's a local lady who does these, and it was held on her front porch. I left the camera back at the house, which was a big mistake, because everything was very picturesque. We looked out over a front yard that must have been at least an acre, with lots of flowers. The tables, with 2, 3 or 4 seated at each, were beautifully set with china dinnerware and each one had a different kind of tea in the china tea pot.
The tea itself was 5 courses! We started out with 'Spring Berries with Lemon Sorbet', went on to 2 kinds of scones with clotted cream and fresh strawberry preserves, Tomato Basil Soup, 4 kinds of Tea Sandwiches and finished off with 4 kinds of desserts. It was so much fun!!
And here's a picture of the little guest of honor, Sean Peter Fanger :)

He is so sweet, and loves to snuggle! Here's a picture of my mom (his great grandma) holding him.
